With
the new year, comes new music.
Derrick’s
musical style is a unique mixture of contemporary, smooth and cool jazz.
He
has lived and performed in southern California since 1995.
The
diversity of the west coast music scene was a huge influence on his
writing style. The varieties of his jazz compositions also include
influences of Latin jazz, funk fusion, and new age genres..
